Diabetes
Held by a practice nurse with specialist training in the management of diabetes
INR Star (Warfarin monitoring)
Performed by Health Care Assistants.
Counterweight
An NHS programme aimed at helping patients manage their weight. Run by Health Care Assistants.
NHS Health Checks
An NHS programme designed to review the general health of patients aged between 45 and 70, who aren’t otherwise being monitored for chronic diseases such as asthma, hypertension or diabetes, for example. If you are eligible you should be invited shortly after your 45th birthday, and every five years thereafter. Run by Health care Assistants.
Smoking Cessation
We offer a smoking cessation service at the practice, which may be booked without seeing a doctor.
