We make every effort to offer you an appointment to see a GP or other healthcare professional quickly, if necessary. If it is more convenient, you can also book appointments in advance. However, we do know that sometimes our doctors and nurses are very busy.
From the week commencing 21st January 2019 patients can also book appointments with a local GP or Nurse in the evening and at the weekend in a B&NES general practice hub, provided by an organisation called BEMS (BANES Enhanced Medical Services is a GP federation whose members are all the GP Practices in B&NES).
Ask our receptionist for more details about what this service can offer or if you wish to book an appointment with this service. The local hubs are at Elm Hayes surgery in Paulton, St Augustine’s surgery in Keynsham, and the service alternates every three months between Oldfield Park and Widcombe surgeries, both in Bath.
St Augustine’s offers the extended service on Saturday mornings between 8:00 am and 12:00 midday. All of the other surgery hubs are available to book appointments between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm Monday to Friday (including Bank Holidays), and between 8:00 am and 12:00 midday on both Saturday and Sunday.
