To discuss your travel arrangements please make a double appointment with the Practice Nurse and bring along a copy of your itinerary, especially if you are travelling outside Europe.
Vaccines take up to two weeks to become effective. Also bear in mind that it is not always possible to fit patients in for travel vaccines at short notice as this service is considered a routine matter. Please ensure you book a double routine appointment to see one of our Practice Nurse in advance of the date you are due to travel. If you are travelling for longer periods of time please book well in advance of travel as certain regimes take up to 6 months to complete.
A charge will be made for certain immunisations and vaccinations which are not covered by the NHS. A list of these charges is held in reception.
If you are unable to attend the surgery you can always make an appointment at the Nomad Travel Clinic in Bath or Bristol. www.nomadtravel.co.uk
There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below:

Travel Health Questionnaire
To help us offer the appropriate advice, please fill out the online form before coming to see the nurse. Please note that the assessment is a standard document and the reference at the bottom to a three-day response period does not apply. The assessment simply helps us to tailor our response when you see the nurse. Please book the nurse appointment in the usual way.
